One Last Shin-Dig: End of Summer Party Recipes and Tips

With summer on its way out and fall on its way in, the time for summer parties is coming to a close. Why not throw one last summer barbeque to commemorate a perfect transition into autumn? Spicy Roasted Chickpeas

Send summer out with one of these tasty recipes at your party!

Ingredients:
  • Two cans of Chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • Three tablespoons of EVOO
  • Sea salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of Chili power (more or less to taste)
Directions:
Roast drained and rinsed chickpeas, drizzled or tossed in Olive Oil, in a 400 degree oven. Let chickpeas cool and toss with chili powder. Serve in a bowl for munching on during your outdoor barbeque!
S’mores Pops
Ingredients:
  • One Bag of Large Marshmallows
  • One Bag of Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Package of Graham Crackers (crushed)
  • Lollipop sticks
Directions:
Skewer Marshmallows securely on lollipop sticks. Heat semi sweet chocolate in a double boiler until the chocolate is shiny. Dip marshmallow sticks in the chocolate, then immediately roll in graham crackers. Enjoy this sweet treat if you don’t have a fire pit!
Parmesan Zucchini Fries
Ingredients:
  • One zucchini, sliced
  • Flour
  • One egg
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Paprika
  • Garlic Powder
Directions:
Slice zucchini in small slices. Egg wash them, and bake them in a 425 degree oven for 10 minutes on one side, and 10 on the other. Serve them with a little marinara and have a ball!
