It\u2019s time to get out there and enjoy your outdoor space and celebrate the kickoff to summer. We\u2019re sure you\u2019ve already taken the time to spruce up the space with landscape lighting, outdoor fans, and other essential <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lightingandlocks.com\/exteriors-outdoor.html\">outdoor lighting fixtures.<\/a> This way, your Memorial Day party can go on well into the evening\u2014even after the sun\u2019s gone down. When a group of people gathers together at your home, it\u2019s important to make sure that you have something for everyone. We\u2019ll leave the grilling up to you\u2014but we have some great Memorial Day drink ideas that are sure to kick off the summer right.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sweet Tea for Memorial Day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need a pinch of baking soda, 2 cups of boiling water, 6 tea bags, \u00be cup white sugar, and 6 cups of cool water. Sprinkle a pinch of baking soda into a 64 ounce, heat proof glass pitcher. Pour in the boiling water and add the tea bags. Cover, and let it steep for 15 minutes. Remove the tea bags, and stir in the sugar until it\u2019s dissolved. Pour in the cool water and refrigerate. Once it\u2019s cooled down, sip and enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Orange Lemonade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing says \u201csummer\u201d like a sweet fruit drink. This orange lemonade is sure to hit the spot. You\u2019ll need 4 \u00bc cups of water, 1 cup sugar, \u00be cup lemon juice, \u00be cup orange juice, 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel, 1 teaspoon grated orange peel, ice cubes, and lemon slices.<\/p>\n<p>In your saucepan, bring 1 \u00bc cups of water and sugar to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Cool the water. Transfer the water to a pitcher and add lemon and orange juices and peels. Cover and refrigerate it for at least an hour. Stir in the remaining water and serve over ice.
